SEX: Male
BORN: April 15th, 2007
BIRTH WEIGHT: 11 lbs.
ESTIMATED WEIGHT WHEN FULL GROWN: 350lbs.
MOTHERS NAME: Rose
FATHERS NAME: Sisco
FACTS ABOUT THIS BABY REINDEER:
This calf is considered a pinto because of his unusual color and markings. Pinto reindeer are quite rare.
Because reindeer only produce single births, this calf is one half of the only known set of twins ever born in the United States.
WE HAVE A WINNER!
Santa's contest to name his new baby reindeer received hundreds of suggestions from believers all over the United States and even a few from Canada. After narrowing the list of names down to just a few, Santa and his Elves unanimously agreed that the new calf would forever be named BRONNER!!!!
The winning name was submitted by Jacob Robison, Age 10. Jacob and his family will be invited to visit Bronner and several of Santa's other reindeer at their Michigan home in Clare. While visiting the reindeer at Rooftop Landing Reindeer Farm, Jacob and his family will be treated to a reindeer drawn sleigh ride, photos with Bronner and other surprises.
Santa thanks everyone who participated in the naming contest and hopes you will continue to check the Rooftop Landing Reindeer Farm website throughout the year for news on our new group of reindeer calves due in April and May 2008, as well as special events around Michigan featuring Rooftop Landing Reindeer Farm.
Again, Thank you all for participating and Merry Christmas To All!
